If Forever Comes
AL Jackson

If Forever Comes, the final chapter in the New York Times Bestselling Regret Series (Lost to You and Take This Regret)

Christian Davison’s life is complete. With a ring on Elizabeth’s finger and his daughter at his side, he’s ready to run headlong into their future.

Elizabeth Ayers never believed she would again find this kind of joy—the joy of a family and the wholeness found in the touch of the man she’s always loved.

Their love is intense and their passion only grows as they set out to rediscover each other.
But life is never easy.

Rocked by the unforeseen, Christian and Elizabeth will find themselves fighting for the one thing they hold most important—family.

Author Bio:
A.L. Jackson is the New York Times bestselling author of Take This Regret and Lost to You, as well as other contemporary romance titles, including Pulled and When We Collide.

She first found a love for writing during her days as a young mother and college student.  She filled the journals she carried with short stories and poems used as an emotional outlet for the difficulties and joys she found in day-to-day life.

Years later, she shared a short story she’d been working on with her two closest friends and, with their encouragement, this story became her first full length novel. A.L. now spends her days writing in Southern Arizona where she lives with her husband and three children. Her favorite pastime is spending time with the ones she loves.

IF FOREVER COMES TOUR RAFFLECOPTER CODE a Rafflecopter giveaway A huge thanks to AL Jackson for making sure I was able to read this.  I do not know how I missed the tour information sign ups.  I have been a huge fan of Ms. Jackson's writing since her book Pulled.  The Regret Series (Take this Regret and Lost to You) has been one of my favorite series.  It is angsty, but there is a happy ending.  I don't like angst, but Ms. Jackson tells a story in such a way that I get sucked in and don't want to put it down.  Despite my schedule, I read this story in just over 24 hours.  The end result caused the picture to the left!

In order to truly get this story and how heart-wrenching it is, you should read the first two.  Although, Take this Regret was published first, I feel that you should read Lost to You first.  (Sorry Amy, but I like reading in order, LOL)

As a social worker, I have to give the warning about being aware of what you can and can't handle while reading.  This book describes something very serious, very real and very heart-breaking.  Please know your own limitations.

The love that Christian and Elizabeth have for each other is a love that not many people have or will know.  It is the kind of love that I hope one day to experience, but for now I will live love through romances!   What I love the most about these two is that it isn't the fairy tale romance that many people read about.  They go through real struggles and obstacles that real people actually face.

This story, of all three, was the most heart-wrenching and evoked the most emotions from me.  Christian and Elizabeth experience a very horrible tragedy and this is their story about overcoming it.  In the effort of trying to not spoil anything, I will only say that I cried more times in this story than I have in a while.  However, there were some times that I smiled, laugh and even got angry.

By far, this is my favorite book of the series.  While I love the complete series, I truly love how this story addressed real issues that a couple can face and how communication is so vital in a relationship.  Also, how grief is different for everyone and how it can tear families apart.

Amy, my social worker heart and brain thank you for addressing these issues with respect and dignity.
