Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is, so they say anyway.

Fortunately, Drew loves money. He wasn’t capable of loving anything else. The more

money he made, the more he needed to make. Always chasing a deal, that was the

most important thing in the world to him.

You rode Morgan’s side of the tracks. Now ride Drew’s. You know the things she

went through, things nobody should go through. Is Drew sorry for his part in that?

Probably not. He’s not sure things would have turned out the way they did had he

been the cute little husband the critics expected him to be. He did do things that hurt

her, and regretted a lot of his choices, but tortured himself, wanting to do them still.

You think you know Drew? You don’t know squat. You know what his wife has told

you. She couldn’t tell you more than that, she doesn’t know that part of Drew. You

want a sappy cliché romance? Move on, this isn’t the story for you. You want all the

gruesome details? Stick around, and then you can judge Drew.

What can I say about this book that hasn't already been said? We met Drew and Morgan in Underestimated and our emotions were all over the place with that book. Well, be prepared, because it's worse this time. This time we get to hear Drew's side, and it isn't pretty. I wanted to punch him in the balls so hard he'd be singing soprano for the rest of his life. And in typical Jettie fashion, by the end, you fall in love with him, well, I did anyway. The way she told Drew's story was unlike I've read before. He told it to his marriage counselor, yes, DREW went to marriage counseling. Deirdre is the lucky woman's name and I LOVED her! She took the both of them on and didn't let either one get away with their little games they like to play with each other. She puts them both in their place and throughout their sessions, I actually wanted to slap the ever loving crap out of Morgan. She is the perfect example of just because you know what buttons to push doesn't mean you have to push them. The dialogue is witty, heartbreaking and had me in tears in a ton of places. It's not hard to picture Morgan seething while he was explaining his past and you roll your eyes right along with her. Girl solidarity and all that. But Drew, our Drew *le sigh* makes us hate him, despise him, and fall in love with him all over again.
Alicia and Celeste are back too and we get to know them much better. These two are perfect for each other. The way they compliment Drew and Morgan is amazing . Where Celeste is like Drew, ALicia is like Morgan and the two get closer throughout the story. I was just as sad to see these two go as I was Morgan and Drew. I love these characters.
Some of the book is hard to read, I'll be honest. It's never easy to read about difficult subjects, especially about abuse. Jettie takes a very raw approach to the subject and handles it beautifully and in a way that makes the reader think. Everyone can say what they would do in a certain situation, until they themselves are in said situation. This goes to show, not everything is black and white, there ARE grey areas and before redemption has to come clarity. Drew isn't pretty. Morgan isn't perfect. My absolute favorite line in the whole book is I'm an imperfect man, and I've made my wife an imperfect woman. We're just too imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other. She will forever be my always  The details of Drew's past are horrific, it's what makes him so human. It's what makes you sit back and say, Oh my God it's a wonder he isn't worse You just want to wrap your arms around him and wish him back to his childhood to erase every bad thing that ever happened.
The biggest question remains, can the monster in Drew ever be tamed. Can he ever turn off the darkest part of him to achieve the happiness you want him to have? This is where you, my friends, will come to appreciate Deidre. And can Morgan ever come to grips with the fact Drew might not ever be whole, no matter what she does? There's a song, "Sometimes love just ain't enough" it could have been written for Morgan and Drew. Want to know the end? Buy the book. And cry when their story is over, just like I did, then go and reread it again. Jettie is a masterful story teller and I hate her for ending their story-no, I love the woman, I just don't want their story to end. I have fallen in love with these characters even more after this book and I know you will too.

“You coming soon? The photographer will be here any minute. Do you really want

me to dress Nicholas for this?”

“No way, we’re leaving now… Drew?”

“Yeah.”

“The moving guys left two boxes of papers here for me. Should I bring them home for

you?”

“No, I’ll send Celeste after them tomorrow. Come home. Nicky will be awake soon.”

“Okay, but you just called him Nicky again.”

“You don’t have to point it out every time I do it.”

“Yes I do. I’ll see you in a few. I have to run Alicia home first.”

“You should stop and get us some beer. We’ll float around the pool naked after Marta

leaves and NICHOLAS goes to bed.”

Writing is more than a passion for me. I write adult books, romance and erotica. I did

recently try my hand at a young adult romance, but because of the gutter that my mind

seems to fall into. It quickly went into rated R mode. I reside in Ohio. I love living in

Ohio, except maybe the cold winters, and the snow, well maybe the hot summers too.

Ah hell, I hate Ohio.

I love to push my limits in writing, fuel the senses and emotions of my readers. I have

some great supporters and love them all dearly.

And don't forget about the book that started it all Underestimated
